OptiMedis and COBIC Ltd from Great Britain founded a joint venture at the beginning of 2017 – OptiMedis-Cobic UK Ltd. The common goal is to implement population- centred, integrated models of care in the British National Health Service (NHS). They work closely with Imperial College Health Partners (ICHP), an association of service providers, purchasers, academic partners and technology providers. In 2019, OptiMedis-COBIC UK, with our partners, received the renowned Health Service Journal Award 2019 for the best initiative to further develop the English healthcare system.<\/p>\n

OptiMedis has managed the “International Network of Health Promoting Hospitals & Health Services (HPH)” since 2019. The HPH has been supporting hospitals in introducing health-promoting concepts for patients, employees and entire regions since the early 1990s. Our international cooperation resulted in numerous networks being established around the world, in which hospitals, rehabilitation and care facilities are networked at national or regional level. The HPH, which continues to be supported by the WHO, currently has more than 600 member institutions in more than 30 countries worldwide.<\/p>\n

How can a sustainable, population- centred integrated care for the German-speaking community in Belgium be implemented? On behalf of the Belgian Service for Independent Living (DSL), OptiMedis has developed a feasibility study on this question. Based on this, a concept for the establishment of a management company for integrated care, including an initial business plan for implementation, will be developed. Supported by OptiMedis, the city and Eurometropolis of Strasbourg won a contract from the French government, as part of the national innovation competition “Territoires d`Innovation\u201d for a major project to improve prevention and care in the region. The project “Territoire de Sant\u00e9 de Demain” (The health region of tomorrow) aims to promote innovative and participatory health actions in the communities concerned. Under the umbrella of the \u2018House of Health\u2019, the Strasbourg Eurometropolis and its partners have developed measures to improve the health of the local population, to find innovative solutions for better health care and to develop integrated care strategies for at risk patients.<\/p>\n
