Founded in 2003, OptiMedis is now one of the market leaders in the development and implementation of innovative forms of healthcare. We come from the fields of health sciences, economics, medicine and nursing, IT, sociology and many other areas – as a team we bring together different perspectives on the healthcare system and develop innovative and feasible concepts. Our customers come from a wide variety of sectors: Health insurance companies, local authorities, ministries, universities, associations, industry, hospitals and many more. In our projects, we rely on close cooperation with stakeholders in regional networks, research institutions and associations. We combine economic thinking with a strong focus on the common good \u2013 and aim to help solve urgent societal challenges. Our innovative financing model shifts the incentives in the healthcare system: Instead of paying for the volume of services provided, we reward the value and outcomes achieved. He is also Managing Director of Gesunder Werra-Mei\u00dfner-Kreis GmbH in North Hesse. <\/p>\n As co-chair of the Heinrich B\u00f6ll Foundation’s Health Policy Commission, Helmut Hildebrandt contributed to the recommendations published in 2013 for reforming the current incentive and remuneration system in the direction of quality and efficiency. He served for three terms on the board of the International Foundation for Integrated Care and for more than ten years on the board of the German Managed Care Association, working to optimize incentives for better health outcomes for patients, both nationally and internationally. He was also a board member of the German Network of Health-Promoting Hospitals and received the 2022 Forward Thinker Award from the Initiative Gesundheitswirtschaft, the B. Braun Foundation and Bibliomed-Verlag. <\/p>\n The pharmacist and health scientist has many years of experience in qualitative research (medical sociology) and conceptual work in health promotion and organizational development.
