For the last two years, OptiMedis-COBIC UK has brought together the expertise and experience of two well established and pioneering companies, OptiMedis AG from Germany and COBIC Ltd from the UK, working in close association with NHS Commissioners and Providers, as well as leading IT companies and academic partners.
OptiMedis-COBIC UK are working with local health and care partners across the UK as they come together to take on responsibility for population and individual health in integrated care systems to provide advice, support and services at every stage of the journey from initial conception through to long term delivery. We are passionate about the role of Primary Care and using a list-based model to promote health rather than react to ill-health – we focus in particular on the development and delivery of the ‘integrator’ function which enables commissioners to be more strategic and for providers to come together working in partnership to design the delivery model underpinned by data that informs and assists, which we believe is essential for the successful delivery of accounta-ble care.
OptiMedis-COBIC UK is now seeking expressions of interest from people keen to help support the development of integrated across the UK.
We are keen to hear from people of all backgrounds and experiences – to represent the localities we support – who believe that health, inequalities and health care costs can be transformed by using data and evidence to build on the NHS’s strengths of primary and community care, building community and supporting people live their lives to the full. We are particularly interested in can-didates with experienced in project management, data science, organisational development, clini-cal service redesign – but if you have skills and experiences you think are useful, let us know – we are always looking to challenge and be challenged!
