Vom 11. bis 13. April ist Berlin die europäische Hauptstadt für Integrierte Versorgung. Die „13th International Conference on Integrated Care“ wird erstmals in Deutschland durchgeführt. Erwartet werden namhafte Experten aus dem In- und Ausland, u.a. Prof. Chris Ham (Vorstand The King’s Fund, Großbritannien), Uwe Deh (Geschäftsführender Vorstand AOK Bun-desverband), PD Dr. Peter Berchtold (Präsident Forum Managed Care, Schweiz), Dr. Christoph Straub (Vorstandsvorsitzender Barmer-GEK), Maureen Bisognano (Vorstand Institute of HealthCare Improvement), Prof. Dr. Guido Adler (Medizinischer Direktor Universitätsklinikum Heidelberg), Prof. Dr. Joachim Szecsenyi (Universität Heidelberg), Prof. Dr. Volker E. Amelung (Bundesverband Managed Care), Dr. Bernhard Gibis (Kassenärztliche Bundesvereinigung) sowie Helmut Hildebrandt (OptiMedis AG).
Die Konferenz befasst sich schwerpunktmäßig mit den vier Schlüsselherausforderungen für die Integrierte Versorgung („Four Key Challenges of Integrated Care“). Folgende Themen stehen dabei im Mittelpunkt: Payment Systems and Incentives, Improving Continuity of Care and Care Co-ordination, Organizational Solutions und Implementation Strategies that Deliver Chance.
